NOTES ON PROPOSED CHANGES TO ROTARY DISTRICTS

On Saturday 27 April around 50 Rotarians from District 9685 attended a workshop convened to help answer the many questions around the proposal to create a larger Sydney Rotary District.

This workshop was facilitated by PDG Ian Scott. Ian outlined the proposal and sought feedback from the participants on the advantages/disadvantages/risks involved in such a move.

PDG John Dodd took notes during the workshop and has asked that those notes be circulated to clubs. John’s notes have been circulated to the G-Train and PDG Ian Scott as well.

I have attached John’s paper for you to read and discuss with your members. The vote on whether District 9685 agrees to continue to work towards a larger Sydney District or Not will be taken at the Presidents Meeting at Hornsby RSL on 11th May 2019.
